The fastest way to reach me is lucinda@vinesandplates.com. I read everything that comes in, and I answer most messages within a week. If your message needs more research (a tour correction, a winery I have missed), it may take two weeks. If it has been longer than that, feel free to send a polite follow-up. Mail does get buried.

What to write about

I am glad to hear from readers about any of the following: a tour that has changed its itinerary since I reviewed it, a cellar door I should add to my list, a region I have not covered yet that you think I should, a factual error on one of the pages, or a winery or operator who wants to invite me on a visit. I am also interested in reader trip reports, especially from people who took a tour I recommended and want to say how it went.

What I do not answer

I do not book tours on behalf of readers. The booking links on the site go straight to Viator and I cannot see or change a booking once it is made. For booking changes, cancellations, or refunds, please contact Viator support directly with your order number.

I do not accept paid placements, sponsored posts, or "contributed articles" from tour operators. If that is what you are after, please save us both the back-and-forth and use a different kind of site. The full reasoning is on the about page.

Press and partnerships

For press enquiries, podcast guest requests, or interview pitches, please email lucinda@vinesandplates.com with the subject line starting "Press". Include the outlet, the deadline, and a one-line summary of the angle. I respond to most of these within a week, but I do say no to roughly half because the lead time does not fit around cellar door visits.

If you run a winery, a regional tourism body, or a tour operator and want me to visit, send the dates, the region, and what you would like me to see. I pay my own way and I keep editorial control, which is the only arrangement I work under. Details on the about page.

Privacy

Messages sent to lucinda@vinesandplates.com are stored in a single inbox and read only by me. Your email address is never shared, sold, or added to a marketing list. The privacy policy on this page covers the rest of the site.
